Brigadier General Taslim Uddin Khan, ndc, psc Defence Attache, joined Bangladesh Embassy, Riyadh, KSA on 23 October 2008. Before that he served as Director Engineer of Bangladesh Army Headquarters. He joined the Bangladesh Army in 1976 and worked in various positions in  Bangladesh Army. He is a Bsc. Engineer (Civil Engineering) and Master in Defence Studies. He is blessed with two daughters and one son.

Mr. S M Haroon- or- Rashid, Counsellor (Labour) joined the Mission on 26th  of December 2006. He joined in the Civil Service in January 1986. Before joining this Mission, he served in different positions in the District and Upazilla  administrations, Bangladesh Secretariat and other government organizations. He completed Post Graduation in Mass Communication and Journalism from Dhaka University. He has obtained Diploma Certificates on Administration and Management, Information and Communication Technology, Voluntary Development, Poverty Alleviation, Micro Credit, Port Management, Development Communication etc. from home and abroad. He worked with UNDP, UNFPA, WFP and some other UN and Commonwealth organizations. He is a playwright, wrote about hundred drama for television and a few for stage.

Mr. S. Bodiruzzaman joined the Mission as Counsellor (Political) on 17th  October 2008. Before he joined the Mission, he served in Bangladesh Consulate General in Hong Kong from 2001 to 2004 as Vice Consul. Mr. Zaman also served in Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi as Second Secretary and First Secretary from 2004 to 2006. He served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka, as a Director in South Asia Wing and Consular and Welfare Wing. Mr. Zaman is a member of BCS (Foreign Affairs) cadre. He completed his Hons. and Masters Degree in English Literature. He is married and has a daughter.

 

Dr. M. Mizanur Rahman Counsellor (Economic) joined the Mission on 31st  of December 2009. He was born in 1963 in Brahmanbaria district. He completed his B.com (Hons) and M.com in Management from the University of Dhaka. He also did his MSc and PhD in Economics from Czech Republic. He joined the Bangladesh Administrative Service in 1988. Before joining this Mission, he worked at government and other organizations in various capacities in the field of administration, project management as well as policy level. He participated in job related various training courses in home and abroad. He represented Bangladesh individually and as a member of delegation in various International Forums.

Mr. Rahman visited Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Japan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Thailand, United Arab Emirate, United Kingdom.

 

Mr. Mohamed Mizanur Rahman joined as Second Secretary (Labour) in the this Embassy on 22 February 2008. Before joining this Embassy, he worked as Senior Assistant Chief in Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance, Dhaka. He also worked as Assistant Chief in the Ministry of Labour & Employment and Cabinet Division of the Government of Bangladesh. He is a member of BCS (Economic) Cadre. He obtained B.Sc. (Hon's) and M.Sc. degree in Statistics from the Chittagong University, Bangladesh. He also did M.Sc. in Economic and Financial Forecasting from the London Guildhall University, United Kingdom. He is married and got two daughters.

Mr. Abu Bakar Mohammed Noman serves in Sonali Bank Ltd. joined as Sonali Bank Representative of this Mission on 09 September 2007. Before joining this Embassy he served branch Manger and Head Office Dhaka. He also served in Sonali Bank U.K. He passed B. Com.(Hons.) M. Com in the Dep't of Management University of Dhaka. He passed Banking Diploma DAIBB. He has two daughters.
